Following an hour of solid practise, Ki was exhausted. “Ted said his practise would finish at 12 so we could have lunch together… shoot, it’s already 11:58!” Ki gathered her things quickly and rushed off to the cafetaria, she scanned the tables but it looked like Ted hadn’t made it yet. She tided her hair up, and sat herself at a table in a corner. She wanted to spend a little time with Ted today, ask him about Overdrift practise, if there was going to be another Brianpalooza and that if there was, then maybe she should organise it. but for now, she’d just work on programming a few more games while chowing down on her apple.

Since try-outs, Ki hadn’t felt more motivated. ”I didn’t get into fighting try-outs, but I do alright at rhythm gaming. If I don’t develop fighting games with my parents… Well I guess I can branch out to something else as well. High school is about trying new things…” she looked at herself in the mirror. “I’m glad that Ted and I have made up and Brian is back…” With a smile, she secured her hair in a knot, grabbed Ted’s guitar and headed to the common room. “Well, better get on with practice!” Ki synced the guitar and she was ready to rock! Until someone tapped her shoulder…
